At the recent Town Council meeting, Chief of Police Brian Smith promoted Detective Jorge Carvajal to the rank of Police Sergeant.
Sergeant Carvajal is a 13-year veteran of law enforcement, in both patrol and in investigations. His most recent assignment was in the Investigations Bureau of the Juno Beach Police Department.
So as a Detective, Carvajal was recently recognized as the 2019 Officer of the Year.
The Police Foundation wishes Sergeant Carvajal much success and support as he begins the next phase of his career.
