We are pleased to announce that the Juno Beach Police Foundation has commenced preparations for the annual September 11th Memorial Event, which will be held at the Town Center this year. As we approach this significant day of remembrance, we honor the memories of the lives lost and pay tribute to the resilience and unity of our community.
The September 11th Memorial Event holds great importance for the Juno Beach community, allowing us to reflect on the tragic events that unfolded on that fateful day and to honor the courage and sacrifice of the first responders, military personnel, and civilians who were affected. This commemorative event serves as a reminder of the strength and resilience that binds us together as a community.
The Juno Beach Police Foundation, in collaboration with the Town of Juno Beach and the Juno Beach Police Department, has been helping to organize and sponsor this memorial event since the Foundation’s inception in 2018. The Foundation’s focus areas of funding additional equipment, training, technology, and community outreach align closely with the objectives of the September 11th Memorial Event, making it a natural fit for their involvement.
Each year, the September 11th Memorial Event features a solemn ceremony that encompasses various elements to honor the memory of the victims. This year’s event will commence at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, September 11th at the Town Center. The ceremony will begin with an invocation by Police Chaplain, Reverend Emily McGee of the Juno Beach United Methodist Church and followed by a moment of silence.
The Juno Beach Police Foundation and the Juno Beach Police Department are deeply committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community. Through their dedication and hard work, the Foundation strives to provide public safety services that allow us to enjoy the quality of life in Juno Beach. The September 11th Memorial Event is an opportunity to recognize the sacrifices made by law enforcement officers and to express our gratitude for their unwavering commitment to our safety.
We invite all residents, community members, and visitors to join us on September 11th at the Town Center to honor the memory of the lives lost and to stand together as a community. Let us remember the heroes who demonstrated bravery in the face of adversity and reaffirm our commitment to unity, compassion, and resilience.
