Current Update: 08-31-2023
This year, the Juno Beach Police Foundation has taken on a special role in organizing and overseeing the upcoming 2023 Juno Beach Veterans Day celebration. What’s more, the Foundation has generously stepped forward to provide the funding for this significant occasion. We cordially invite everyone to mark this date on their calendars: November 10th at 11:00 AM, a morning that will see us gathered at the Town Center, united in honoring and paying tribute to the heroes who have bravely served our nation.
Anticipation is building as we prepare for a Veterans Day celebration like no other this year. With an unwavering commitment to our community and a deep respect for our veterans, we are on track to create an event that captures the true essence of gratitude and admiration we feel for those who have served.
The centerpiece of this year’s event will be the unveiling of a brand-new Veterans memorial monument. This monument stands as a permanent symbol of the sacrifices and valor exhibited by all those who dedicated themselves to our country. Its presence will serve as a poignant reminder of the immeasurable debt of gratitude we owe to both veterans and their families.
While we eagerly look ahead to this meaningful occasion, we encourage you to reserve the morning of November 10th at 11:00 AM. The Juno Beach Police Foundation, along with our entire community, is eager to join hands in commemorating, recalling, and expressing our profound gratitude for the selfless service of our veterans.
Keep an eye out for more updates as we finalize the event’s details. Together, let’s make this year’s Juno Beach Veterans Day celebration an unforgettable and deeply moving tribute to those who have dedicated their lives to safeguarding our precious freedom.
Police Foundation Committee members who are actively planning and organizing this event are: Tony Meriano, Jim Lyons, Cy Seymour, Michael Shea, Marvin Findling, Ron Hoadling, a representative from The Waterford, and Foundation President Tom Murphy as Chairman… all of whom are local Veterans.
